AI Policy

AI is a rapidly emerging technology that is poised to change our world. This technology has a lot of promise, but it has come with a lot of concerns, ethical and otherwise. To ensure that the Ohio STEM Role Model Project is prepared to embrace the future of AI, we have outlined the following policy for how we plan to use AI. We believe that AI has great potential, but because we are focused on telling human stories, we do not want to lose the human touch, so OSRMP will use AI for these purposes only: 

 

• AI can be used to assist and enhance the way we educate the public about the individuals and events we feature. 

 

• AI can be used for creative purposes, whether it be creating ads, posters, images, etc. 

 

To maintain the integrity of the information we present and to ensure that we do not lose the human touch, AI will not be used for research purposes, writing posts, or for public engagements/presentations. Also we do not allow the use of AI to portray individuals and historic events inaccurately and or/inappropriately.
